Sorry for the lateness. Here's some Nico Video finds to make up for it.
-Japanese Fanartist DNA, best known for his/her Okkusenman animation has made a really cool little tribute to Seiken Densetsu 3. They also worked with Hyadain to make a couple of fake SD3 DS commercials here and here.
-New Rydia fanart slideshow. I love the character.
-The Paffendorf, the latest Japanese meme has really started to take off. There are two versions. One with just the character dancing. Like this Ike video here. And there's another version that edits animation from Lucky Star and contains LS samples mixed in with the song like this one with Shanks and this one for Kingdom Hearts II.
-A cute little dance video with Roy, Marth, and Ike.
-I FINALLY translated those weird Convenience Store videos with the help of another YT user. I've got three up today including one of Marth Goes to the Convenience Store (SSBB), K' Goes to The Convenience Store (English Subbed) (KOF), and a Megaman Legends one that is STILL processing (I uploaded it a good hour and half ago as I'm typing this).
-New official US Trailer for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Looks like Ocean Studios is handling dubbing duties. Sounding good and on par with the Japanese version. ANN has updated their encyclopedia page accordingly. This is a FANTASTIC Anime movie BTW.
-New FF: Dissidia scans show some representation from Final Fantasy III. Though sorry DS fans, it's seems they've passed on using Luneth or any of the original DS characters. Instead opting for the old school Onion Knight and Cloud of Darkness. Wow, that's one sexy cloud.

A super late entrance with a super megaton.
-The biggest announcement seems to come to Marvel, where they practically confirm that a new Marvel vs Capcom is coming "...sooner than we think."
-Also, speaking of superhero crossovers. Some new characters confirmed for MK vs DC. Captain Marvel and Liu Kang was announced at E3. Joker and Jax were announced this week at ComicCon. IGN has a wicked render of how Joker will appear in the game.
-Found a video on Nico highlighting the most Skillfully Satisfying Supers in fighting games. As I understand it, it's not necessarily the best or flashiest, just the ones that are hard to pull of and most satisfying to pull off in a real competitive fight.
I've made a forum post detailing some of my freeware picks. It's a small start, I plan on doing more eventually. I'll go ahead and just copy it here:
Irfanview:
http://www.irfanview.com/
Irfanview is to Windows Image Viewer like Firefox is to Internet Explorer. Have Photoshop, but HATE to open it when all you need is a quick crop or resizing? Irfanview is right up your alley. It's lightweight (opens incredibly fast) with a TON of image editing features, Batch converter, and a plugin system that allows it to do practically anything (although right now, it's mostly just for allowing it to open virtually any file. By no means a Photshop replacement, just a great Image viewer and editor. A lot of Manga fans will also tell you it works great for a Manga viewer as you can basically cycle through all the "pages" in a full screen browser mode.
1Click Youtube Downloader
http://www.eurekr.com/
There are TONS of Youtube Downloaders out there, some even cost money. I've tried several. But this is the BEST and it's FREE. This recent version also has the ability to save HQ videos. You can download a variety of ways. Whether it's a single video, All you favorites, or all of one user's videos. UNLIKE a lot of other Youtube Downloaders, 1click, will name the file for you and organize it in appropriate folders. You can also change the output file to AVI, MP4s, whatever you like! Only downside is that it's essentially a clone of Internet Explorer in its interface.
AoA DVD Ripper
http://www.aoamedia.com/dvd_ripper.htm
This is a Shareware DVD Ripper. It's simple, straightforward, and easy to use. The limitations of this "trial" is simply a 10 minute limit. So, don't expect to rip full TV episodes or movies. HOWEVER, there's a "Movie Clip" option, a bit tricky to get the exact timing you want, but if you need small clips done for say a video project or you just want to upload your favorite movie scene to something like Youtube, I highly recommend this program. I actually made a couple of short One Piece clips I ripped from my (LEGIT) DVDs using this program:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9XhRzfAEu0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v22Inay1sUE
Media Convert (Web App)
http://www.media-convert.com/
Need a quick file converted? Don't have a piece of Software conversion on hand? Try Media Convert. A free online converter with a wide array of converting options. Just select the file, and your options (NOTE: If you select one of the profiles on the left it pretty much ignores any other settings you put in). File uploads, coverts and you download the converted file. I actually use this site a lot for my Nico Video rips (FLVs to AVIs/MP4s/NTSC DVD MPGs)
SUPER
http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
Need something more off-line? I'm sure if you've ever wanted to convert a file, there are TONS of expensive apps out there. SUPER is FREE. Totally and completely. Interface is a little clunky and crowded, but it works like a charm with tons of options to get the file you need converted JUST right.
Anyway, that's just a start, more to come later.

Lazy and Unmotivated HO!
Sorry about the lack of DeviantArt Saturday and lack of entries on Monday and Tuesday, I've just felt rather unmotivated. I guess I'd feel more comfortable if I didn't try pushing myself to have perfect daily entries. Don't get me wrong though, I still plan on updating this blog way more frequently than my Social blog on Myspace. There really hasn't been any OMG finds or ZOMG MEGATON news lately.
As for DAS, I have an update nearly ready, it's just that both Saturday and Sunday are both busy workdays, and when I get home, I just don't feel like doing more work. Not that it matters much, since I'm sure there aren't a whole ton of people reading this anyway.
Now some stuff from Go Nintendo:
-A blurb about Kirby Super Star DS's extra games.
-Famitsu Review Scores. Nothing really interesting, but I had to mention that SNK's Witch Touching Sim, Doki Doki Majou Shinpan 2 received a 30, which is the highest score they've EVER gotten.
-Siliconera posted that S-E has trademarked "Chrono Trigger: Echoes of Time". Some may think it's possible they're preparing a sequel. Or it could (and most likely) just be a subtitle for the DS port. On one hand, it has to be the latter because if they made a sequel, it would be Chrono _____. On the other hand, maybe S-E knows of CT's rabid fanbase and their disappointment with CC and are calling it CT to appeal to those fans (and to show more of a connection between the DS game and the new game). Siliconera also points out, that S-E did a similar strategy with the Valkerie Profile series. They made an enhanced port and released a sequel soon after. Who knows?
-A couple of subbed trailers for Captain Rainbow, a new Wii game from Nintendo by the same team as Chibi-Robo (never played it I'm afraid). It looks REALLY bizarre in a Katamari meets Warioware kind of way. Also has old school Nintendo characters. Trailers here and here.
I haven't been keeping up on reporting what "The Nerd" (James Rolfe) has been doing lately. I could link a bunch of individual videos, but I'll do something a little broader. He has an account on Spike.com now where his latest "project" the Batathon, a series of Batman Movie reviews is up. And speaking of Superheroes, he's done reviews for Superman games and Batman games located at Gametrailers. I really admire that he can be hilarious and silly for his AVGN videos, but be a serious and enjoyable movie critic at the same time.
Done yet? Nope!
-A funny flash theme about a couple guys singing FF6 music acapella.
-And finally, I have a couple new Nico Video finds. The SSBB Leekspin and a Shadow of the Collossus Caramelldansen.

Time for a Quickie
-Here's an awesomely obscure Gintama parody featuring Last Blade characters.
-Dan and Feilong confirmed for the Home versions of SFIV.
-Don't know if I've ever posted the first one before. A series of hilarious Brawl Machinema mostly focusing on Snake and Sonic. Starting with "You're too slow" from a few months ago, recently followed up with two sequels. "Come on! Step it up!" and "Kirby's Fun Time"
-Hyadain has just uploaded a new song based off Chrono Trigger's Epoch/Silbird theme.

A Better Mega Update
-I know, yesterday's update was rather small. I actually had some video links ready to post, but Youtube was giving me trouble.
-Batman: TAS Complete Collection announced. Normally I'd pass, since I have all the episodes already. But check out that slick packaging. Plus they'll be a couple extra features added.
And for some Nico Video Finding goodness:
-Zetsubo Sensei meets FF8
-FFVII Caramelldansen of animated Randomness
-Lupin III CaramellDansen
-Some new iPod commercial parodies: Here, here, and here.
-Link doing the Caiprinha dance.
-Farewell Yotsuba Sensei
-And here's a series of fanart videos depicting Anime characaters in other drawing styles: Oda (One Piece) doing Haruhi, Takashi Obata (Death Note) doing One Piece Parts 1 and 2, Yugioh in Evangelion as well as various Anime.
Not really "new", but I've added High Quality download links to both Faris parodies, the Meloncholy of Faris (Haruhi) and Faris Star. They're in the description. Yeah the original creators came out with HQ Enhanced versions AFTER I uploaded the originals.
-Oh and finally, Christina Vee, known for her top notch voice work and fan dubbing of several Anime themes into English, has made a set of English Caramelldansen songs including the jarring original, and the more internet common Speedy Cake remix. Video with MP3s here. Also I took her Speedy Cake remix MP3 and dubbed it over the Brawl Caramelldansen, and it came out beautifully.

Mega Update
This is an official "fake" box art for Mega Man 9 that Capcom was giving out as Tshirts at E3. Man, Capcom is really on a roll.
Speaking of MM9, here's the intro, as well as a taste of Concrete Man and Plug Man's stages via the E3 demo.

E3 with Nintendo Bias
Yeah, lots of Nintendo stuff today
-New Screenshots from the DS remake of Kirby Super Star. Release date is September 22.
-New Trailer for Rabbids TV Party.
-Siliconera has a preview of the E3 build of Chrono Trigger DS. PS1 cutscenes, original SNES version, and new translation confirmed!
-New peripheral for Wii annoounced that "enhances" the Wii-remote to give more of a lifelike 1:1 experience. The bundled game will be a new Wii Sports title.
-That's not the only new toy from Nintendo. Oh no! They've announced a new type of Wii Microphone called "WiiSpeak". It's described as like a speaker phone, where multiple users in the room will be able to chat with others. It's primary use will be with the newly announced Animal Crossing for Wii. Gamespot has a couple articles on it here and here.
Forgot this the other day, but here's a subbed intro video for Nintendo's new Wario platformer animated by Production IG. Check out the video responses for gameplay footage.
And now for a Nico Video find, remember that One Piece Nico Medley sung by a Robin impersonator? Well, now that same gal has sung her own rendition of Hyadain's My First Friend. Even tweaked the lyrics to match One Piece.
